I have recently been to Brazil for 2 weeks holiday and apart from the most important things every tourist must see, Brazilian Hair Care was also on the top of my list.
My obsession with Brazilian products started, when I got Keratin Hair Treatment done, here in London. I absolutely loved that (separate post about this coming soon). A while after this, I actually had an opportunity to try some of the most popular hair care products - I absolutely loved them all and they were so cheap - not only for a person that lives in the UK but cheap in general (£5 average).
That was a bit of a background - now, let's get back to the business. This time, I got some conditioners that I have never tried before. One of them, I bought, I actually had an opportunity to try before and couldn't leave the store without buying it.
Let me know if you have tried any of these or what other miracles deal with damage on your hair.
NOVEX MAX KERATIN
This one is kind of 'a very specific one'. At first, I didn't know what to do with that as it has very kind of watery consistency and I have always expected the conditioner to look and be kind of creamy and thick. Again, this one almost looks and feels like a water. When I got it for the first time, I added this to my hair masks as I wasn't sure how to use it to not use the whole bottle at once.
So I now got it for the second time and I decided to use it the way it is meant to be applied. I didn't take a picture of the instructions but they suggest to use this everyday for first week and every two or three days after 1st week of treatment. Well, I do not use it everyday but I apply this the same way I would apply normal hair conditioner. It does miracles. It changes dry, damaged and looking-dead ends into healthy-looking hair, which look like never damaged, dyed or styled with heat.
These two are almost the same, I mean they deliver exactly the same result - healthy looking, shiny hair. The brown one on the left (in the picture above) is a conditioner but also having this kind of very watery-looking texture. Maybe all conditioners in Brazil are like that? Anyways, they do miracles - that is the most important. The hair mask, however, brown one on the right, has this creamy texture and lasts for really, really long. I didn't need that much to cover the entire length of my hair. Definitely buying this ones again!
Salt-free shampoo. I am a bit confused about its name. I bought it with the name SEDA on the pack, and have been recently searching for the same one online to add it to my Brazilian Wish List and found the same one, but called SunSilk.
Anyways, I never thought the shampoo can have such an impact on the damage. When using this one, I don't even have to use any conditioners or masks because my hair is already so soft! The reason I bought this is its formula without salt - I needed this to maintain the result of the keratin treatment.
Another hair masks... Maybe this post doesn't show a variety of products as all of them do the same - transform extremely damaged hair into the hair that looks healthy - they look like you just left the hair salon after the 10cm hair cut!
If you have damaged hair, style your hair with heat constantly, long hair with 'ugly ends that need intensive moisture and cannot find the product that works as it is claimed to work, try these ones. I can bet you would love all of these - and your hair as well!
They are all, obviously, available in Brazil or ebay/amazon.
Good tips <33 such a good post :D
