1. SEDA DAMAGED HAIR RECONSTRUCTING SHAMPOO
To be honest with you, I only bought this shampoo as it was the only one in the supermarket without salt. I got it when I was in Brazil just after I had the keratin treatment done but now I am in love with it! As it is without salt, it does not ruin the effect of Brazilian keratin treatment but it also makes the hair soft, smooth and free from visible damage. Now, I am either going to get it from Brazil or online but this time I will get 20 units or so to make sure I will never run out :) I have never used the shampoo with such a repairing power - most of the times, it was a conditioner or hair mask that were able to repair my hair and cover damage.
2. DARK AND LOVELY AMLA LEGEND HAIR MASK
I have used this one just to use it and get rid of it. It didn't do anything positive to my hair what is more, its texture was so heavy that it made my hair looking greasy and flat. It also weighted them down so I am not going to purchase it again.
3. 2x L'BIOTICA BIOVAX BB BEAUTY BENEFIT
Another failure. This is a Polish brand so you are likely to know it if you come from Poland or purchase Polish cosmetics. I have tried face and feet masks from this brand but these hair treatments don't do anything beneficial to the hair. They also left my hair really dry.
4. JOHN FRIEDA DREAM CURLS SHAMPOO
This shampoo is similar to Seda (1) in terms of the result. As I said, I never actually believed that shampoo can actually deliver some smoothness, softness etc - I always expected these from the conditioner and hair mask but this shampoo leaves the hair smooth, soft and even repaired, however, it didn't give any curls or anything like that but I actually didn't expect it to do so. Just to clarify, I got it from work so it is not like I bought it to achieve the result from the pack.
5. DR PIERRE RICAUD VOLUMIZING SHAMPOO
Simply: Nothing spectacular. If I had to rate it between 1-10, I would just give it a 5. It adds some smoothness and softness but no volume as the manufacturer promises. I wouldn't buy it again as I know there are better and cheaper shampoos available in stores.
6. THE BODY DELI BLUEBERRY FUSION MICRO-SCRUB (review here - click)
7. SOAP & GLORY NO CLOGS ALLOWED DEEP PORE DETOX MASK
This one is amazing. I love products, which deliver at least small visible results just after first use. This one does it. Just after one use, I could notice improvements in my face's appearance in terms of pores, comedones and blackheads as well as brightness. I will definitely buy it again.
8. VICHY NORMADERM DEEP CLEANSING PURIFYING GEL
When purchasing this one, I bought three items from this range. Anti-imperfections face cream and 3-in-1 scrub, mask and cleanser. I love them all. I always have some acne here and there and I must say that this products does not help my face to get rid of those but it's very good and maintaining the result so I usually use different products to get rid of acne and blackheads and then I use Vichy Normaderm to maintain the result.
9. THE BODY SHOP VITAMIN C MICRODERMABRASION
I am seriously obsessed when it comes to scrubs. I know it is probably not the best thing to do but I do exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week. There are plenty of face scrubs available in drugstore, which have a cleanser-like texture. I could never understand this. I buy a scrub to exfoliate not to cleanse the skin the same way I do it with cleanser. I could never understand why they manufacture products that have no grains and are called scrubs. Anyways, this is not about that. This scrub has proper grains + vitamin C and the exfoliating result is amazing.
10. NATURA TODODIA IN-SHOWER MOISTURIZER
I have tried Nivea In-Shower Moisturiser first and absolutely loved the product and the amount of time it saves. I also got couple of them from Natura (Brazilian brand) and loved these even more. They are called Deodorising Moisturiser so they don't only moisturize the skin perfectly but also leave it with an amazing scent! If you ever have a chance to try anything from Natura, go for it! I have tried around 10-12 products from them and loved them all!
11. THE BODY SHOP FROSTED CRANBERRY SHOWER GEL
Well. Yes. This product was launched for Christmas 2014 (:D) but somehow, I always had another shower gel in my bathroom so that's probably why I finally managed to finish this now, in April. I am a big fan of The Body Shop, I have never purchased the product and happened to not like it. My favorites are Body Butters, Shower Gels and Hand Creams (for scent and great moisturizing effect) and Vitamin C Microdermabrasion and Radiance Powder Mix as well as other products from Green Tree range.
12. TREACLE MOON SWEET BLACKBERRY MEMORIES BATH & SHOWER GEL
Not much to say about this. I loved it. For the scent and for not testing on animals. I love shower gels which I can still smell an hour after taking a shower. I would definitely buy it again.
13. BE DELECTABLE (FROM CAKE BEAUTY) HAND CREAM
I got this one as a set together with EOS Lip Balm. To be honest, I never heard of this brand before and never seen it here, in the UK. This hand cream was awesome. It moisturized for hours and left amazing smell.
14. SURE WOMAN MAXIMUM PROTECTION 48H ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT
Again, not much to say here. I guess every woman loves to stay fresh no matter the weather and conditions. So if the product you usually buy disappoints you, try this one. Its scent last long, and even though its texture leaves a 'wet feeling underarms' straight after application it absorbs quickly and does its job.
let me know in the comments if you have also tried any of these and if you liked them or maybe there is something similar you can recommend! xx

I haven't actually tried ANY of these which is unusual for me and an empties post - However, I definitely want to give some of them a go. Particularly the Soap and Glory mask and the Be Delectable hand cream. I'm a sucker for cute packaging!
ReplyDeletecute packaging is encouraging ;D so true :) Soap and Glory Mask is DEFINITELY worth trying!
DeleteI love these posts when I discover new products I would quite like to try. I love the sound of the Be Delectable hand cream and the Sweet Blackberry product.

I haven't tried any of these products though they do sound good. The body shop items caught my interest mostly because I'm obsessed with Body Shop haha. Glad that you mentioned about whether they were tested on animals or not as can't bring myself to buy items that have been.
ReplyDeleteWow, loads of empties.
ReplyDeleteI've only tried number 4 and didn't really get on with it, I'll have to try some of these products out.
