Today, I want to share with you my opinion about this Micro-Scrub from The Body Deli, which I actually accidentally brought from work.
For those, who don’t know, The Body Deli is a brand from USA, now exclusively available in the UK at http://abeautifulworld.co.uk. This brand doesn’t test on animals.
From the company’s website:“The Body Deli is the original pioneer for fresh, raw, organic skin and body care. Our products are formulated to rejuvenate and give your face, body and hair a healthy, vibrant and youthful glow. Raw superfoods are what make The Body Deli products so effective. Superfoods are nature’s most concentrated sources of bio-identical nutrients, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants. Superfoods are made in nature and are highly absorbable by the human body. The skin is the largest organ of the body and needs the same high quality nutrition topically that a healthy and vibrant body needs internally. Rejuvenate your skin with clinically proven active ingredients and with the health giving benefits of pure, organic, food based ingredients”.
So for the last 2 weeks or so, I’ve been using Blueberry Fusion Micro-Scrub smelling like a fresh berry smoothie you have during that hot, sunny day. It contains DIAMTOMACEOUS EARTH, lactic, malic and citric acids remove dull. dry and damaged skin. When using this for the first time, I didn’t realize it has acids in its content and I applied way too much of this product on my a bit irritated skin (I had couple of big acne on my left cheek that time). It was so pinching that I thought I would have to wash it off straight away. But I didn’t and next time I knew how to use this properly. Also, after this incident, I have read everything that was on the pack.
I’ve been thinking a while about getting CHEMICAL PEEL done but I’ve been postponing this all the time as I didn’t want to scare anyone when going outside with my skin peeled so when I read that this scrub actuallyCONTAINS SOME ACIDS I was really excited as I wondered if that works similar way to the acid used during chemical peel. It is actually hard for me to compare or judge whether it works the same way as I have never had chemical peel but from the results that are promised, I strongly agree that the effect is very, very, and once again, very similar.
I have noticed the results after one week of using this product every second or third day. I noticed my skin is smooth and moisturized with even skin tone. After using this product, the spots I had on my cheek, weren’t kind of mountains or volcanoes – instead I had smooth and flat surface. Of course, I could still see some redness from spots, but it was really irritating and annoying when I had spots and even though I covered them with make-up, there were still visible, not as red ones but as ‘volcanoes’ covered with foundation. Nobody wants that.
Spots are actually my main concern and I’m currently discovering many products that would help me with that so stay tuned if you are interested as there will be some more amazing things coming up if it comes to getting rid of spots/acne.
Another thing this scrub definitely does is removal of dead and dry skin cells. Oh gosh… It makes the skin so fresh and healthy looking that you wouldn’t believe your own eyes. It also moisturizes the skin so well that after using it, you don’t need to apply any cream.
The only negative thing – or maybe something that scared me a bit is that it has this kind of smashed berries colour so when applied on the face, it seems that the skin is all red as it would be burned. I mean, it is not a big issue but when using this first time, it scared me!
Products from this brand are a bit expensive if compared to the other face care or body care products available in the UK but if all of them are as good as this scrub, then they are all worth the price! After using this scrub, I don’t think I need to get chemical peel anymore to improve my skin’s condition.
That would be it about this magical scrub I got, let us know if you had an opportunity to use anything from The Body Deli.
